Please note: This position resides in Cheadle, UK and will report under the Umbro organization.

As our Strategic Planner for Umbro, you'll develop actionable 3-year Strategic Processes and Plans to monitor, ignite and support the execution of their initiatives. You'll identify and analyze new business development opportunities and create processes to execute. You'll assist with Business Development evaluations, execution strategies, and financial expectations and support management through strategic initiatives, including working closely with Nike-led projects. You'll also develop corporate initiatives, including support and recommendations for improvement to the organization, infrastructure, communications and processes. The work is focused on strategic planning, growth opportunities and leadership consistent with the corporate vision and strategy. You'll be responsible for making recommendations for significant decisions for long term business strategies that have a direct, important and significant impact on Umbro and the broader Nike business and Brand. Furthermore, you'll advise higher-level management on supporting initiatives, financial and economic analysis that may have an impact on the Company's current or future objectives. You'll assist with the decisions on the operation executions of business plans. You'll support ongoing Company strategic planning efforts, including the creation of long-range strategic planning, financial benchmarks, and shareholder value creation. You'll also develop strategic-planning processes, and plans for business leader ownership. You'll interface with Nike, Inc. on key initiatives, projects and presentations to drive the business goals and communicate with the parent company. You'll plan and execute strategic and financial-based projects initiated by senior management focused on current issues impacting the business and the future impact of those issues. Moreover, you'll research complex issues and create solutions to drive the company performance. You'll perform in-depth market and industry analyses to understand the financial performance of the retail, footwear and apparel industries. You'll use market information to build financial models, make recommendations to senior management and assist with senior-level decision making. As new business opportunities arise from the strategic analysis performed by the Strategic Planning Group, you'll be responsible for developing a business plan and the execution framework with the appropriate management team members. In addition, you'll be responsible for the integration into the appropriate business operating unit (existing or new).
