Provides innovative graphic and/or textile design creation within Product Graphic Design at the consultant level.  Acts as the graphic design lead and works within a cross-functional category team to create a line from concept to reality.

&lt;b&gt;&lt;u&gt;Responsibilities:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/u&gt;

&lt;li&gt;40-50%-Product Design - Leads design efforts within a category to create graphic and/or textile concepts and designs that appropriately reflect NIKE?s design philosophy and which lead the industry.  Understands and applies new technologies that bring innovation to NIKE designs and applications.  Effectively utilizes computerized systems.

&lt;li&gt;10-15%-Process and Timeline: Acts as category graphic design leads and works with design leadership and category team members in Design, Development and Merchandising to ensure feasibility of designs, meeting price points, merchandising needs and product creation timelines.

&lt;li&gt;10-15%-Leadership - Displays leadership qualities for other designers and category team members.  Shares knowledge, experiences and skills with others.  May have responsibility for managing other designers including hiring, providing coaching, feedback and performance evaluations.

10-20%-Communication - Communicates and presents design concepts.  Produces presentation materials in conjunction with the Design and Category Teams that effectively communicate the concept behind the line for internal and external audiences. Creates and delivers powerful presentations of seasonal design proposals.

&lt;li&gt;5-10%-Prototype Creation - Provides appropriate materials to developers, account managers or graphic separators for the creation of separations, embroideries, or trims.  For textiles, produces textile repeats for production purposes.

&lt;li&gt;5-10%-Skill/Knowledge Development ? Maintains and continually expands upon expert knowledge of current trends, color, technology and sports related products through travel and research.  Demonstrates expert understanding of products, product lines, product development process and the specific markets in which NIKE does business.&lt;/ul&gt;

&lt;b&gt;&lt;u&gt;Requirements:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/u&gt;

Minimum 8 years relevant experience in graphic design.

Degree in Graphics Design or Textile.

Advanced knowledge of screen-printing, embroidery, appliqué, trims, fabrications, silhouettes, and/or textile design applications.  Preferred high level of expertise utilizing graphic design software.

Fluent in English both Written and Spoken.</description>

Strong familiarity with current trends, color and design.  Must be computer literate using Macintosh computer design applications
