Nike is committed to providing products that enhance the experience of the athlete.

Sometimes we find that certain products do not meet our performance standards even after extensive testing. When this happens, Nike will take every reasonable measure to rectify the situation for consumers.

Any U.S. consumer who bought a pair of Nike Free 5.0 running shoes on or before July 31, 2005, or bought a pair labeled with a manufacturing date on or before March 5, 2005, and noticed tearing of the heel mesh in those shoes, should call 1-866-749-6453 for information about a possible exchange or refund.
