Nike’s Work/Life options in the US are almost entirely employee-driven. Their ideas often turn into our Human Resource policies. In fact, we’ve implemented the following policies to help our employees find a balance between their work and personal life:

  • We offer flextime, telecommuting, and compressed workweek options which allow employees to determine their own hours.
  • After maternity/paternity leave, parents can arrange part-time scheduling for up to 12 weeks after birth, adoption or placement of a new child.
  • Our summer hours policy helps our WHQ employees find creative, flexible ways to take Fridays off when kids are out of school (or just to enjoy some summer weather).
  • It’s no secret; we love sports. So, we try to make our offices globally fit our active lifestyle by offering gyms in some locations and discounts at nearby facilities.
